What you get with Affex

Everything below is built into the app. Affex hasn't launched yet: join the waitlist to be notified on day one.

SM-2 or Leitner scheduling

Rate each card Again, Hard, Good, or Easy and Affex sets the next interval with SM-2, or switch the deck to Leitner. Daily new and review limits are yours to set per deck.
Import Anki decks (.apkg, .colpkg)

In the Affex desktop app, use Import on the Decks screen or open the file with Affex. Notes, media, note types, and tags come along; review history and intervals do not, so cards start as new.
Structured courses

Units, lessons, and exercises: multiple choice, listening, speaking, fill in the blanks, match pairs, and sentence builder. Each lesson has an energy limit you can set, and exercises are rescheduled with a simplified Half-Life Regression.
Image occlusion cards

Study image occlusion cards, including ones imported from Anki, with the hidden regions rendered in the card.
Daily Streaks & XP

Flashcard reviews and course lessons feed the same XP, daily goal, and streak, so any study session counts toward your momentum.
Shared Decks & Courses

Browse decks and courses shared on Affex and import them into your collection.
Offline-First Sync

Study offline and sync your collection across your devices, with changes merged without conflict prompts.
